Where is the Globe?
The Globe was an Elizabethan theatre which opened in Fall of 1599 in Southwark. The Southwark is now known as the Bankside. It is one of the most famous theatres there. The others are Swan, the Rose and the Hope. The Globe was the playhouse of the Lord Chamberlain's Men which would become the king's man in 1603. Most of Shakespeare's plays are performed there including Julius Caesar, Macbeth, Othello, King Lear, and Hamlet.
